  • Land Rover offset the first 3 years or 45,000 miles of the vehicles carbon emmissions, The customer also pay for the offset. This ranges from £85.00 - £130.00 depending on the vehicle of choice. Admitted the carbon is still being "kicked" out of the car, But Land Rover are the first Car Manufacturer that actually offsets this carbon. They are also well on the way to produce an electric hybrid, This is being tested at this time. They have also just about to bring out stop/start technology on the Freelander Range.

  • Excellent stuff Lee... Lets hope more big companies start doing similar. I doubt that the actual engines are so carbon friendly though. Maybe they soon will be.
