Description: I love to watch the Britain from Above series as they have put together some fantastic footage which not only shows how beautiful where we live is but also the energy we consume and waste on a day to day basis. It doesn't matter what time of day it is there are so many cars on the road, house, street lights on and no doubt a lot of them is wasted energy. In certain cases such as street lights, all over the world, there must be ways in which we can reduce the energy used. Now, I'm not saying that we should just turn our street lights off at a certain time in the middle of the night as we all want to live in a safe environment but slowly introducing technologies such as low energy bulbs and solar power will make a big difference.
